Give items you no longer need a new life at the ReStore!

Proceeds from your donations go back to the community and help build a new foundation for families in need of stable housing.

ReStore History

Habitat for Humanity ReStore originally began with the Austin, Texas Habitat for Humanity in 1992. Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit retail outlet specializing in the resale of quality new and previously owned building materials, home furnishings and  appliances at 50-75% off retail  prices. Today, some 500 Habitat ReStores in 47 states are raising funds to support their affiliate missions of housing people in need.  Midland County Habitat for Humanity established its ReStore outlet in August of 2006.

How Does it Work?

Individuals and businesses donate merchandise and building materials to the ReStore. Habitat employees and volunteers process the donations, stock and organize the store and assist customers with questions and purchases. In return, the community receives terrific bargains at the ReStore. Profits go back in the Midland County Habitat for Humanity to help build and revitalize homes for low-income families in Midland County.

Reuse and Recycle

ReStore resale outlets provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work. Through ReStore donations, we have diverted millions of pounds from the landfill.
