Recycle Your Electronics Drive

Midland County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is proud to partner with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy to host an E-Recycling Event free to the community.

The event is Saturday, April 29th from 10am – 2pm at the ReStore. This event will help the community divert electronic waste from local landfills by collecting acceptable electronics (see list below). Items to be recycled can be dropped off at the ReStore, follow directional signs.

Acceptable items:
✅ Printers/Scanners
✅ Cable boxes/Routers
✅ Mobile devices & Tablets
✅ Networking equipment
✅ LCD monitors
✅ Game systems & accessories
✅ Consumer Electronics
✅ DVD players/VCRs
✅ Audio equipment
✅ Household electronics
✅ Computers/Laptops/Servers – Remove all personal information prior to donation or for an additional fee ($10) the hard drive can be destroyed
For A Nominal Fee, Recycle These Additional Items:
✅ CRT Monitors/TVs – $20
✅ LCD TVs – $20
✅ Destroy Hard Drive – $10
Please note, we can only accept cash for these additional services

The ReStore has partnered with the Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network for this event. There is a suggested donation of a non-perishable food donation for the Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network for each electronic turned in. Suggested Items:

🍴 Jam
🍴 Canned fruits
🍴 Noodles/pasta
🍴 Tuna helpers
🍴 Hamburger helpers

🍴 Mustard
🍴 Cooking oil
🍴 Jello/pudding
