Thank You to all of the Neighborhood Revitalization Volunteers

Midland County Habitat for Humanity would like to thank the over 700 volunteers who helped during our Neighborhood Revitalization event that occurred Friday, August 2nd through Friday, August 9th, 2019.. From painting homes to building porches, repairing roofs and replacing windows, volunteers were willing to assist with whatever was needed. We could not have accomplished all that we did on 15 homes without the help of our volunteers and sponsors.
Groups volunteered from the community and many groups from local businesses including: Aptar, Arbury Insurance, Ayre Rhinehart, Consumers Energy, Corteva, CPI Engineering, Dow, Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union, DuPont, Great Lakes Bay Construction, Kroger, Memorial Presbyterian Church, Messiah Lutheran Church, Midland Ford, Midland Police Department, SK Saran, Trinity Lutheran Church, United States Coast Guard and more.
We would like to give a special thank you to all the crew leaders: Tom Bunell, Bob Donald, Bill Fothergill, Jerry Hanhfeld, Linda Hilliker, Rob Mortenson, and David Summers. The Assistant Crew Leads Mike Babbcock, Phil Baker, Bob Brockheizen, Roger Miller, and Bill Schram. We would also like to thank Marcia Hahnfeld, Linda Kosch, for providing their landscaping expertise and leading the Landscaping Crew. Thank you to Great Lakes Safety Training Center (Jill Dougherty, James McDaniel, Mike Sauve) and Brad Blanchard from SK Saran for providing safety tips on how important it is for each volunteer to work safely for both themselves and others around them.
