Furnace Repair Program Accepting Applications











Is your furnace over 15 years old?
Is your furnace an older gas furnace with a pilot light?
Is your furnace not running properly?
You may qualify for the Emergency Furnace Replacement program in partnership with Midland County Habitat for Humanity and Consumers Energy.
Technology has moved on to electronic ignitions which are much more energy efficient. Itβs time to consider upgrading to a newer furnace if youβre tired of relighting your pilot light or the thought of having to do so worries you. An energy efficient furnace allows you to spend less money heating your home, and you will worry less about the quality of your air.
Some qualifications:
β’ Furnace must be natural gas
β’ Cannot service mobile homes or trailers
β’ Must be a Consumers Energy client
β’ Applicant must own the home (no land contracts or rent to own)
β’ Must have homeowners insurance on the home
β’ Must be up to date on taxes and mortgage payments (if applicable)
β’ Must meet 30β80% Area Median Income. (See AMI qualifications here)
β’ Must live in Midland County
