The past few years have been challenging ones with the devastating flood to our community and the global pandemic. As you know, a home is more than walls and rooms. It is a gathering place for loved ones, a space for friends to come over after school, and a sanctuary after a long day of work. We would like to celebrate home, and celebrate you! Please be our guest at the 2022 Midland County Habitat for Humanity Homeowner Picnic.

We would like to gather to celebrate you, the homeowner, and reconnect. After taking a pause in the family picnic, due to the pandemic, let’s gather together and celebrate each other.

At the event we would like to introduce you to our new Homeowner Service Manager, Katty Owens. Katty is a certified financial coach and would love to discuss with you some of the Habitat programs including:

  • Home repair program
  • Financial coaching (a free service)
  • Sharing tree registration

Midland County Habitat for Humanity will be hosting our picnic at the Loons baseball game on August 11th at 7pm. We have rented the Northern Lights Pavilion and will provide dinner (one entrée option with sides and soda), parking. Our Board of Directors, staff, Family Advocates, and Crew Lead volunteers will also be joining us at the picnic.

Family Photos

New! This year we will have a professional photographer there to take family photos of you and your immediate family (individuals living in the Habitat home with you). You will receive 1 free digital file of your family photo for your use.

Please join us at the family picnic to participate in this great opportunity for professional family photos!
