Home dedications are a sweet celebration of another Habitat family completing the process of home ownership.

The Arbury home was built in partnership with the Midland Public Schools Building Trades program. The students worked in partnership with Habitat volunteers and contractors to learn the different trades. The partnership with the building trades program provides experience for the student’s post-secondary choices through authentic experiences.

This program provides students an opportunity to work side-by-side with industry professionals and learn about several different trades including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, HVAC, and more.

The Arbury home will be having an open house where the general public can come tour the home and learn more about the Midland County Habitat for Humanity programs and services. The open house is August 27th from 3:30pm – 5pm.

Dedication ceremonies last about 30-40 minutes and conclude with an open house including refreshments after the ceremony. ALL are welcome!

Dedication ceremonies include thanks to sponsors and volunteers, words of appreciation from the new homeowners, giving of gifts and much more.

As we like to protect the privacy of our partner families, please contact Marlane Davis at for address and details.
